The EAC Secretariat will convene Member States for a three-day HIV prevention consultation in Entebbe Uganda. The purpose of the consultation is to follow up on HIV prevention target setting, review progress against 100-day plans and plan the way forward to meet the targets of the 2016 Political Declaration on Ending AIDS. Participants include National AIDS Council and Ministry of Health Directors; leads of HIV prevention programes; civil society organizations and UN partners. The meeting is supported by UNAIDS RST ESA, in partnership with UNFPA and UNDP.
