On 12 and 13 April, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat will host a stock-taking meeting to review the implementation of the national 100 day plans in Johannesburg, South Africa. This meeting will be preceded by a civil society consultation on structural barriers to HIV prevention hosted by UNAIDS and AIDS Rights Alliance for Southern Africa and a one-day prevention update meeting hosted by UNAIDS and Evidence for HIV Prevention in Southern Africa. Participants at the meeting will explore ways in which to strengthen civil society efforts to ensure that structural barriers to HIV prevention are addressed.
